Game Cam will not load...Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption

Hello. Game Cam works perfectly fine on many other games, of which i own, however it refuses to even consider loading on Vampire the Masquerade redemption. I am unsure why, the game is a direct X 7 game, which should allow it to work with it, or am i mistaken?

I have tried starting Game Cam when the game has loaded, however, nothing has changed. If it is not too much bother, please tell me whether or not the cam is compatible with Vampire Redemption.

(Also, why does GameCam start up when i play music using Window Media Player? is it supposed to try and record the Media Player?)

I'll dowmload a Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption demo
and check it out.
Game Cam shouldn't be starting up when using Media Player.

Game Cam does start up, when i access music files directly, so if i double click a music file. WMP starts up, then GameCam starts up as well, letting me record the WMP music and the strange background effects it has. Obviously it only happens if GameCam is ready to be used and is displayed as a quick start icon, i just wondered if it should be doing that.

Unfortunately, even though Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption is a DirectX 7 game,
the game engine appears to be too old or unfamiliar to work with Game Cam.
I tried combinations of Game Cam, Game Cam Xpress, Windows XP and Windows 7
and didn't have any luck at all. Sorry for the bad news.
